Working for Japanese company and an industry that is dominated by men and taking multiple trips to Japan shaped the way I see design, purpose, and the beauty of simplicity, and I always wished Filipinos could experience that same calm in their everyday lives. 

Each time I returned home, I felt the contrast of our fast, unpredictable routines, and it made me dream of curating products that could bring Japanese intentionality into the Filipino hustle. I became fascinated by the idea of blending clean, functional Japanese aesthetics with the expressive, resilient spirit that defines Filipinos. That question stayed with me:
